Residential new construction

Production runs and one-off customs, framed lot to final. We work for builders as much as homeowners — which means we hit rough-in windows, keep our runs out of the plumber's way, and leave every panel labeled before we ask for a walk.

01

Rough-in to trim-out

Full-house wiring from the first home run to the last plate. Boxes set to plan, runs stapled tight, nail plates where they belong. Trim crews show up to a house that's ready for them.

02

Service & panel sizing

Load calcs done up front — 200A standard, 400A where the plan calls for it. Main and subpanel placement worked out with the builder before drywall, not after.

03

EV charger pre-wire & installs

Dedicated 240V circuits and conduit to the garage on every rough-in, or full charger installs at trim. Cheap now, expensive later — we tell builders to pre-wire every stall.

04

Solar + battery readiness

Backfeed breaker space, conduit runs to the roof and battery wall, and a panel that won't need replacing when the array shows up. Built to CEC interconnection rules from day one.

05

Smart-home & low-voltage rough-in

Structured wiring, Cat6 drops, security and AV pathways pulled alongside line voltage — one crew, one schedule, no second mobilization.

06

Lighting design collaboration

We read the lighting plan early and flag what won't work before it's in the wall. Recessed layouts, cove details, exterior packages — coordinated with the designer, not fought with.

Building at volume? We price per plan, staff to your schedule, and repeat clean rough-ins house after house.

Commercial

Tenant improvements, ground-up, and service work across the Tri-Valley. GCs call us back because the schedule holds and the inspector signs. We treat a first-pass inspection as the standard, not a bonus.

01

Tenant improvements

Office, retail, medical, and light industrial build-outs. Demo to final, phased around your tenant's dates, coordinated with the fire and HVAC trades.

02

Ground-up commercial

New commercial construction from underground and service gear through distribution, branch power, and lighting. We're on the schedule from the first site meeting.

03

Service upgrades

Main service and gear replacements, capacity upgrades, and utility coordination — planned shutdowns kept short and communicated in writing.

04

Dedicated circuits & equipment power

Machine hookups, kitchen lines, server rooms, compressors. Correct conductor sizing, correct overcurrent protection, tested under load before we leave.

05

Lighting retrofits & Title 24

LED retrofits and controls that actually meet California Title 24 — occupancy sensors, daylighting, demand response. Compliance documentation delivered with the job.

06

Panel schedules & as-builts

Typed panel schedules in every cover, as-built drawings turned over at closeout. Your facilities team should never have to guess what a breaker feeds.

First-pass inspections

We build to CEC and Title 24 at rough-in, not at correction time. That's the difference between a schedule that holds and one that doesn't.

Why Ascend

Three things a builder actually needs from an electrical sub.

On schedule

Crews sized to the job and committed to your rough-in windows. If a date moves, you hear it from us first — with a recovery plan, not an excuse.

Clean work

Labeled panels, tidy home runs, secured and strapped raceways, as-builts delivered at closeout. The next trade — and the next electrician — can read our work.

Inspection-ready

Title 24 and CEC compliance engineered in from the plan review, so the inspection is a formality. First-pass sign-offs are the point of pride here.
